The Circle Music Band 8pm

The Circle Music Band is a Toronto-based, Persian music band founded in 2011, offering a unique style of music as fusion of jazz and psychedelic rock with elements of traditional Eastern instruments. Circle Band focuses on classical and contemporary Persian poetry.

Hoop You LED Glow Show 9pm

Hoop You specializes in custom fire performance, glow shows, and hoop dance parties. Don’t miss out on an electrifying performance!

The Breadwinner 9:30pm

Based on the bestselling middle-grade novel by Deborah Ellis, The Breadwinner is an animated feature film set in 2001 in Kabul. It follows the empowering story of a young girl named Parvana who must cut off her hair and disguise herself as a boy to become the breadwinner for her family when her father is imprisoned.

6-8pm Programs

Padideh Ahranjad and Ali Massoudi

Recent immigrants to Canada, Padideh Ahrarnejad & Ali Massoudi have over 25 years of experience as professional musicians and educators in their native Iran. Padideh Ahrarnejad plays and teaches Tar, a plucked-string instrument central to Persian music, and Ali Massoudi performs on a wide variety of percussion instruments. Their program of Persian music is based on the traditional Radif.

Hula Hoop Fun Zone

Get movin’ and groovin’ with this family friendly activity that’s suitable for all ages. Hosted by a skilled hula hooper who can teach almost anyone how to hula Hoop! Children and Adult hula hoops will be provided for use.

Kids can take photos in the hula Hoop houses as well.
